I know I know you’re probably thinking “Ugh, again?” Or “Another self-proclaimed ‘writer?’” (Just one) of the differences between myself and those aforementioned “authors” is the fact that, unlike the vast majority of them, I’ve got the skillset, the vocabulary ammunition loaded, and the definitive and distinct voice and style that many others tout that they have, yet they’re still signing up to every creative writing Master Class that pops up on their Instagram or Facebook feed.
What’s going to set this blog [by Mikey] apart is that the distinctive voice and style I just mentioned is going to be front and center in every post, establishing a consistent chain of well-worded, informed, sarcastic reviews and takes of various pieces of our culture across many topics that I feel are relevant enough to post because…well because it’s my blog (emphasis on my)
That means post after post of wit, sarcasm, intelligent conclusions and astute observations and reflections, heavily doused with profanity and overflowing with adult humor. It’s grown up time in the swimming pool kids.
